Terms of Service

Emergency Notice: This service is NOT for medical emergencies. Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room if you are in immediate danger.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, completing enrollment, or using the Palm Beach Metabolic Care patient portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Nature of the Service
Palm Beach Metabolic Care is a physician-supervised medical weight management program operated by Plastic Surgery of Palm Beach. The program provides: • A secure patient portal for managing your clinical information • Physician consultations and ongoing oversight • Prescription coordination for GLP-1 medications • Care team communication All clinical decisions — including whether you qualify for GLP-1 therapy — are made exclusively by licensed physicians at Plastic Surgery of Palm Beach.
3. Not Emergency Care
THIS SERVICE IS NOT FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES. If you are experiencing a medical emergency — including chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, suicidal ideation, or any other life-threatening condition — call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use the patient portal or messaging system to report emergencies.
4. Membership and Billing
The membership fee is $99/month, billed monthly to your payment method via Stripe. Your membership renews automatically each month unless canceled. Medication costs are separate and billed by your pharmacy — not by PSPB. Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel at any time before your next billing date.
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to: • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful health and identity information • Keep your account credentials confidential • Not share your account with any other person • Report any unauthorized access to your account immediately • Use the messaging system for non-emergency communications only • Comply with all physician instructions and recommendations • Acknowledge that GLP-1 medications are prescription-only and carry clinical risks
6. No Guarantee of Results
Weight loss results vary by individual. Plastic Surgery of Palm Beach does not guarantee any specific outcome from participation in this program. GLP-1 medications are associated with clinically meaningful weight loss in many patients, but individual results are not predictable.
7. Physician-Patient Relationship
A physician-patient relationship is established upon your initial consultation with a Palm Beach Metabolic Care physician. This relationship is subject to the professional judgment of the treating physician, who may decline to prescribe, modify treatment, or discontinue the relationship consistent with applicable law and professional standards.
8. Medication Disclaimer
GLP-1 medications (including tirzepatide and semaglutide) are FDA-approved prescription medications with known risks, side effects, and contraindications. Prescriptions are issued at physician discretion only. Do not adjust your dose without consulting your physician. Certain medical conditions are absolute contraindications for GLP-1 therapy.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, software, and materials provided through the Palm Beach Metabolic Care portal are the property of Plastic Surgery of Palm Beach or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLASTIC SURGERY OF PALM BEACH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Palm Beach County, Florida.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active members of material changes via the patient portal.
